Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) on a temporary basis in locations in and outside of Cork City.

Responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant:

• Address residents’ personal care needs and support their daily living activities.
• Deliver a high standard of care and service in the workplace.
• Facilitate clear communication between residents and their families.
• Maintain punctuality and effective time management.
• Mentor new healthcare assistants during their training.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including staff nurses, clinical nursing managers, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements of a Healthcare Assistant:

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Studies or equivalent.
• Proven experience in the healthcare industry.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Genuine interest in working with the elderly.
• A caring and kind nature.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
