Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager for a new sub-acute facility in Co Tipperary

This position presents an excellent opportunity to join a new state of the art sub-acute care facility which and would suit an experienced nurse, ideally with an acute nursing background. The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director of Nursing, assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day management of this HSE contracted unit. This position offers a fast-paced working environment and unparalleled scope for career progression with Ireland’s fastest growing healthcare provider. Acute or sub-acute hospital experience is essential given the nature of care provided in the unit. This position which may suit an experienced staff nurse looking to move into a management role.

Responsibilities of this Clinical Nurse Manager job include:

• Support the Assistant and Director of Nursing in the day-to-day management of the unit
• Carry out regular risk assessments to mitigate clinical risks and prevent accidents, in accordance with company guidelines
• Carry out appraisals in accordance with policy while liaising with the Training Coordinator to facilitate personal development plans
• Overseeing the provision of a high quality, person-centred service to patients and effective management of the staff team and resources

What you need to be considered for this Clinical Nurse Manager job:

• Current NMBI Registration
• Experience in an acute hospital or step down care facility
